Atrium is a long-established leading specialist insurance and reinsurance business, underwriting through Syndicate 609 at Lloyds.
Atrium operates within the Lloyd’s market and has a history dating back to the 1930s. Atrium has a first class reputation, operating from offices in London, Singapore and San Francisco and underwriting a portfolio of Marine, Energy, Aerospace, Non-Marine and Liability classes of insurance.
At last report, Atrium achieved Gross Written Premiums (GWP) of just over £380 million.
Brand Experience was commissioned to develop an entirely new website platform for Atrium, to reflect its growth and ambitions as a Lloyd's business.
We worked with key stakeholders within the business, researched and provided analysis of existing user journeys in order to develop brand positioning and the optimum site design and architecture to suit the global nature of visitors to the site.
The site was developed by us using Umbraco, the open source content management system (CMS), which is used by some of the world's most prominent brands.
Our ambition for the site was to provide a fresh, energetic look using infographics to bring key facts and figures to life, giving the user a snapshot view of the business.
Concept images with layered transparent colours were created to reflect the values of the brand and give depth to the brand style we created.
The site is fully responsive, so that the content optimises whether viewed on a desktop, tablet or smartphone and the Umbraco architecture allows Atrium to have full control over all aspects of content across the site.
