Julian has developed Brand Experience over the last 25 years and takes overall responsibility for the Brandex family of companies.
His expertise and wide-ranging experience in creating and developing international corporate brands began with his training in graphic design.
He went on to work for Norwich Union Insurance (now Aviva plc), the UK’s largest insurance company, and swiftly went on to become Head of Design within the corporate division.
Julian has shaped Brand Experience’s proactive approach to national and international business, and has led his team in delivering successful communications to a broad range of corporate clients around the world.
Creative and Digital Director
After studying graphic design at Norwich School of Art and Design (now Norwich University of the Arts) and Suffolk College, Chris worked in the design team at HMSO and Banner Business Supplies before joining Design Company (now Brand Experience) in 1999 and becoming Head of Design.
Over the past 20 years he has developed the digital side of the business, and now manages an ever-expanding creative and web team.
He specialises in the delivery of integrated print and digital projects and boasts an enviable portfolio of highly successful online campaigns. He has built up relationships with a wide range of both local and international clients.
Client Services Director
Judith has over 20 years of experience in the delivery of strong and effective corporate brands, communications and campaigns, managing the team of designers and account managers to deliver a project on brief, on budget and to deadline.
She has a specialist knowledge of maintaining and delivering brand integrity and is the central liaison point between client and designer.
Throughout her time at Brand Experience she has built up an impressive portfolio of public and private sector clients, using her wealth of industry, public-funded and partnership experience to build positive, long-standing relationships.
Founded in 2011, Brandex Insight is headed by Stuart Bartram, who for 11 years led the corporate digital estate at insurer Aviva.
The global insurance company’s online communications challenge was a complex one, balancing the demands and opportunities of a dynamic consumer brand and an extensive global portfolio of websites.
Reporting to Aviva’s Global Brand Development Director, Stuart was at the heart of this strategy with his team playing a key role in developing the digital presence for Aviva’s first global brand campaign: You Are The Big Picture.
The company benefits from Jake’s experience as Head of Communications at CLS, a financial market infrastructure.
For over 15 years he led brand strategy and delivered integrated marketing and PR plans at global banks, including JP Morgan, Citi and HSBC. At these banks, Jake delivered marketing and PR campaigns promoting foreign exchange, fixed income, cash management and trade services to corporate and financial institution clients.
He was also Head of Marketing and PR for FXMarketSpace, a multimillion dollar foreign exchange trading platform, funded by CME Group and Thomson Reuters.
Bill has worked in the capital markets for a variety of firms including banks, software platforms and service providers for over 27 years.
Since 2011 Bill has run The OTC Space and worked with firms of all sizes to develop and deliver content, hold events, make videos and deliver webinars.
Since 2002, Rob has worked across a variety of leading business titles, most recently The Insurance Insider (Euromoney) where as Sales Director he was responsible for the non-subscription revenue sales across the portfolio of market-leading titles and associated websites, email news services and events.
At Brandex Media, Rob combines his media and publishing experience with his understanding of the insurance market to support the group’s insurance clients across all marketing and communications disciplines.

Having worked both client and agency side, Ashley has an almost unrivalled background in financial services having worked at a senior level at Aviva and moneyfacts.co.uk before switching to agency life.
His client list has a heavy Personal Finance presence including the likes of AXA, HSBC, Swintons, Fool.co.uk, AWD MoneyExtra, Uswitch, Which?, British Bankers Association, the Building Society Association and Interactive Investor but also includes retail clients such as Canterbury of New Zealand, Budget Car Hire, PokerStars and John Frieda.
Ashley’s role covers email, SEO, PPC and Social Media. The latter being an area where Ashley has written articles and been quoted in the trade press for having run some of the most successful social media campaigns in Europe.
