Pioneering intelligence for Danfoss

New brand messaging and identity for Digital Displacement

We were commissioned by Danfoss Digital Displacement to develop new brand messaging and identity to relaunch their innovative range of hydraulic pumps. 

The balance was delicate as Danfoss is a huge global brand and working within the guidelines of the parent brand was a prerequisite.

We embarked on a research and discovery phase, interviewing customers and key stakeholders before developing the messaging. This was distilled into a single company strapline ‘Pioneering Intelligence’.

We developed creative solutions to advertise the new brand and settled upon a play on words around ‘fully’, for example Powerfully Efficient and the second word can be changed to suit a number of different messages – Integrated/Connected/Efficient

As well as advertising in press and online the concepts were used for an interactive sales tool used at exhibitions and a ‘content hub’ website to position the business as leaders in the sector.

We edited footage together to produce a video demonstrating the digital hydraulic pump vs a competitor's traditional pump. The results prove that the Danfoss digital displacement pump is both more fuel efficient and more powerful, therefore faster. Watch the film on the right.

The brand has yet to fully roll out due to the Covid-19 outbreak but the initial response from our digital advertising has been excellent and the website is proving very popular with customers generating many new leads.
