The RSPB
Ensuring the future of the little tern
In August 2018, Brandex was approached by our friends at the RSPB to produce all of the collateral for an exciting and vitally important conservation project.
The EU LIFE+ Nature Little Tern Recovery Project is a five-year project uniting 11 organisations with the single goal of ensuring the future of the little tern. The project involves not only enhanced management and habitat restoration/creation but also the education of local communities and the general public on the conservation issues affecting this at-threat species.
As part of this project we were asked to produce all of the materials for a special conference aimed at technical site managers, wardens, volunteers, statutory authorities and specialists alike. From a scientific report and recovery plan to presentation materials and promotional items we delivered on our brief to help engage, educate and inspire within a pressured timeframe.
The most essential element of this scheme of work was to create a concept that was entirely brand neutral for all partners, something we have done time and again for the RSPB over the years. With Brandex’s long-standing experience of working with the RSPB and understanding of the sensitivities around partnership working and brand, we were able to create a suite of materials that were both unique and sympathetic to this sensitive cause.
We have been very pleased to receive positive feedback on both the materials we supplied and the success of the conference itself.
We were very pleased to work with Brandex on a range of materials for our LIFE Little Tern conference; they responded quickly during design and review process, provided suggestions to help us and delivered everything on time despite our tight deadlines. Our conference was described as “well organised and inspiring” and so we thank the Brandex team for all their help in making it a success."Susan Rendell-Read Project Manager EU Life+ Little Tern Recover Project
